Considering the developments in the EU in terms of the net zero emission target of the Green Deal, Türkiye is also working towards establishing its own carbon pricing system and to enact legislation to fight against climate change. The third Draft Climate Law, brings considerable changes as compared to the previous one and has been submitted to Turkish parliament as part of these efforts.

Ekim 2024’te kamunun görüşlerine açılmış olan Sürdürülebilirlik Denetimi Yönetmeliği Taslağı (“Taslak Yönetmelik”) birtakım değişikliklerle 17 Ocak 2025 tarihli Resmî Gazete’de, yayımlanarak yürürlüğe girmiştir (“Yönetmelik”).

The Draft Regulation on Sustainability Audit ("Draft Regulation"), which was opened to public opinion in October 2024, has been published in the Official Gazette on January 17, 2025, with some amendments, and has come into effect as the Sustainability Audit Regulation ("Regulation").
