The digitalization of global trade encompasses not only the transition from paper to screen but also the change in infrastructures that ensure data reliability and the transfer of ownership. The Guide was approved at the fifty-eighth session of UNCITRAL (2025), and it was decided that it would be published in electronic format in all official UN languages.
