The "Regulation on Administrative Fines for Anti-Competitive Agreements, Concerted Practices, and Decisions, and Abuse of Dominant Position" (“Regulation”), published in the Official Gazette No. 32765 dated 27 December 2024, establishes the procedures and principles for determining administrative fines to be imposed under Article 16 of the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition (“Law”) replacing the "Regulation on Fines to Be Imposed in Cases of Anti-Competitive Agreements

The new administrative fines provided under Article 12 of the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce are published. Based on an increase of 43.93% (which was determined as the re-evaluation rate for the year 2024 in the General Communiqué on Tax Procedure Law (No: 574)), the lower limit of the fines to be applied in 2025 was determined as TL 22,807 and the upper limit as TL 1.14 billion.
