If the private security service is provided at venues where meetings, concerts, stage performances, sports competitions, races and similar events are held or airports open to domestic and international traffic or ports with an annual capacity exceeding 2 million tons or mass transportation facilities such as train stations, bus terminals, and depots located in provincial centers with metropolitan municipalities, or shopping malls, then, the minimum insurance coverage to be obtained shall not be less than the coverage amounts corresponding to the last row of the table provided above.
The statement that insurance premiums shall be determined by insurance companies has been retained.
Private security companies and private legal entities that already hold insurance policies issued on the basis of the former coverage limits, and whose policies remain in force at the time of the change, are required to apply to their insurers to obtain an endorsement (addendum) reflecting the new coverage limits within 15 days from the effective date of the amendment. In the event that the update is not made within this period, the insurer’s liability shall remain limited to the former coverage amounts.
