Communiqué Amending the Communiqué on Commercial Electronic Message Management System Integrators was published
The “Communiqué Amending the Communiqué on Commercial Electronic Message Management System Integrators” (“Communiqué”) prepared by the Ministry of Trade (“Ministry”) was published in the Official Gazette numbered 32864 and entered into force.
- With the previous Communiqué, which entered into force on September 18, 2024, it was stipulated that those who do not obtain an integrator authorization from the Ministry until the end of the sixth month following September, would not be able to establish any transactions regarding commercial electronic messages on behalf of service providers and would not be able to perform transactions through the Message Management System. With the Communiqué dated 8.04.2025, the period for the fulfillment of these obligations has been changed to 9 months as of September 18, 2024.
- With the new communiqué, the referred six-month period granted for applications for integrator authorization — in other words, the period that was set to expire on 31 March 2025 — has been extended until 30 June 2025 (the “final application deadline”). Additionally, the Ministry has been granted the authority to extend the final application deadline for up to three months.
