Selin İvit

Selin specializes in M&A transactions, corporate and commercial law, competition law, and compliance. She has extensive experience representing clients on both the buy side and the sell side of M&A transactions across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, automotive, tourism and hospitality, marina and maritime, food and beverages, digital technologies, cosmetics and industrial and manufacturing businesses.

She has extensive knowledge and experience in private equity transactions, while strategic acquisitions also form a significant part of her M&A practice. In this context, Selin regularly conducts legal due diligence reviews, drafts and negotiates share purchase agreements, share subscription agreements, joint venture agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and other transaction documents, and coordinates and manages signing and closing processes.

Selin also advises clients on a broad range of corporate governance and corporate law matters, including company incorporations, mergers and other corporate restructurings, liquidations, and corporate registration procedures. She regularly prepares and reviews key corporate documents and assists clients with the implementation and registration of corporate actions before the relevant authorities.

In the field of competition law, Selin represents clients on merger control filings to be submitted to the Turkish Competition Board and provides legal consultancy on competition law matters.

On the compliance front, she conducts internal investigations involving ethics, fraud, bribery, and corruption-related matters, provides compliance trainings, and assists clients with international sanctions compliance.
